I’m not so sure Bud Light qualifies as beer.

If Obama and Gates wanted to stick with an appropriate American beer, I'd suggest Stone Brewing Company.

I’ll guess:
Crowley - Blue Moon
Gates - Red Stripe
Obamessiah - Bud Light (because he THOUGHT it was an American company)
Blue Moon and Red Stripe are both excellent. I wouldn’t let my dog drink Bud Light.

More froth than beer in this brew-haha. Obama probably didn’t know who owns Bud; he’s guilty of much worse anyway.
Not a beer drinker, but it would’ve been really cool if Officer Crowley had requsted a Sam Adams, just as a little reminder of why there is a White House.

"Blue Moon, a Belgian-Style witbier brewed by the Molson Coors Brewing Company in Toronto, Ontario, was launched in 1995. In Canada it is marketed as Rickard's White[2]. Originally called Bellyslide Belgian White, it was
created by Keith Villa, a brewmaster at Coors Field's Sandlot Brewery (the onsite brewery owned by the Molson Coors Brewing Company)."
somewhat American beer I guess.

Wow! Thanks for the alert. Rick Reed at
Cricket Hill Brewery frequently rails against foreign owned beers during his weekly beer screed. (
sample video here) It occurs to me that his talk tomorrow night might be especially amusing. It's no longer free. It costs two bucks now, but you get to sample his beers from 5 to 7 PM in Fairfield, NJ. The talk usually begins between 6:30 and 6:45. Cigars optional. Check it out if you're within driving distance.

Well, Colt .45 is owned by Pabst. Is that still a US-owned company? If so, The Kenyan should have a nice cold Colt....

You do a couple of shots with that beer and you’ll stop caring how the beer tastes.
