Local police decide in the town or city you live in but if you don’t like their ruling you can appeal the decision and go over their head to get the license.I went through it.

It is about time that the black people in this country started looking around them and seeing what is really going on instead of being incited to anger by their “leaders.”

These officers are a wonderful first step. They work with this man, they know that he is a good, decent man, regardless of anyone’s skin color. More minorities in this country need to start looking at who is really in the trenches with them.

I too am sad that he has to go. This is all going to be spun as Barry being the “great healer”. Basically what it is doing is taking the heat off himself, the marxist racist thug he is. I don’t want this to ever go away. I hope he lost a LOT of votes. America is waking up and realizing just what a big mistake they made. Further, why is Barry involving himself in matters like these. Shouldn’t he be somewhere else in the world apologizing to some terrorist state?

He should demand an apology first and not go unless he gets one. Democrats and libs are all about demanding apologies for things. He should follow their lead.

I know one lady who was fine with Obama until this happened. She said she had to speak out on this and what Obama said could have caused a race riot. She was in shock. He is taking a hatchet to his voter base every day he throws a new professional group under the bus with his generalized derogatory, ignorant and accusatory statements.

Well, I'm in MA, and the local police Lt. who processed my license to carry application back in January was already not at all a fan of Obama. Would love to know what he thinks of this.

The local talk show on KLBJ is talking about this today, and callers are overwhelmingly opposed to the SGT going to the WH for a beer. One APD officer called in and said the PD here is almost 100% against Hussein and the professor.

Off topic but I’m curious...how difficult was it for you to get a carry licence in MA? I am down in RI and was thinking of submitting an application.

It wasn't that bad for me to get an unrestricted concealed carry license in MA, but that's thanks largely to the fact that I live in a small, gun-friendly rural town since issuance is up to the discretion of the local Chief of Police.

The biggest hassle was bugging friends for the three letters of character reference required to be submitted with the application. Also had to take the NRA Basic Firearm safety course (a good thing), and wait 6 weeks for the state to process the app.

It sucks that it's such a hassle to exercise a basic, Constitutionally-recognized natural right, but I still think it is a thing that every good American citizen ought to do regardless of the hassle. Just do it.
