It's just the latest sad milestone for a President who has broken his promise to end the war in Iraq, choosing instead to leave at least 50,000 troops behind. See the "Obama Broken Promise on Iraq War # 2" as #116 on the Official Obama Administration Scandals List. In addition to breaking that promise, Obama has carried out his own troop surge (something he was dead set against and said would not work when George W. Bush did it) in Afghanistan and recent military action there is increasing the Obama Death Count. The Obama Troop Surge is #109 on the Official Obama Administration Scandals List.

This is NOT the way to bash Obama. The LAST thing we need would be for Obama to uphold his pledge to end the war.

But there are so many other instances of their total hypocrisy, I think this is one we don’t need.

The deaths of these patriots really shouldn’t be used for any purpose other than to hold them up before the world as the best America has to offer.

Wait. So we’re supposed to suddenly run from Iraq so Obama can keep his campaign promises? Or we’re supposed to trumpet American deaths because it could be politically damaging to Obama?

What is it the authors of this article want exactly? They want us to leave Iraq prematurely? Or they want us to stay as long as necessary? If we stay we’re bound to take casualties.

I think the whole premise of this article is just STUPID and wrong-headed.
