Here is complete video of Gov. Sarah Palin's interview with CNN in which she said "I'm not a quitter; I'm a fighter." Palin granted the interview, her first since announcing she will resign as Alaska Governor on July 26. Palin explained that everything changed for her in Alaska when she was chosen as John McCain's vice-presidential nominee. She said a "new political bloodsport" began in Alaska that day - that of attacking Palin and her family. Palin would not say whether she plans to run for President in the future. . . . . I think Sarah did the right thing

The elites are just pissed off because they knew when Sarah was governor of Alaska they had her under control. The elites in the GOP could beat her up for not doing enough and the elites on the left could beat her up for doing too much. They had Sarah in a no-win situation and loved it. Now they are pissed and scared.
Yep, you can tell the fuss she did exactly the right thing.
Great interview! Sarah gets better and better at dealing with the press interviews.......One thing...when she came back from the campaign, one of her first days back, she did an radio interview with an Alaskan radio station. This is what she said, when asked if she would run for President.
She said, “it wouldn’t be a political machine” like the one she had been in. She also said it would be a “grass roots campaign”...........
I think this decision to step down was the beginning, and not the end.

Good for CNN for letting her fully answer the questions (though they were pretty snarky in the article they wrote from the interview.)

I’ve been tough on Palin in the past. Real tough. I was definitely surprised when she did this. I’ve been watching and mostly holding my tongue. I have to say I’m glad I watched this interview. I think she convinced me. She did an amazing job and I think maybe she IS better positioned now. And she was able to make news that bumped Michael Jackson off the screen for a few minutes. She made several excellent points in her answers.

No more Schmidt or Wallace types that go from campaign to campaign drawing big paychecks. She needs hard working people that have worked with the grassroots. People that are willing to roll up their sleeves and work not sit on their high perch and tell others what to do. IOTW, she needs people from Middle America and not the east coast elitist who will undermine her every step of the way.
I agree with part of you suggestions, but there needs to be a small trustworthy group to work with. ... Mary Matelyn, Liz Cheney, ...the guy That I never can remember his name that advised both Reagan an Newt’s contract with America....
She needs to keep on topic with limited topics.
Someone needs to organize and do the graph diagrams of communities...It works, I’ve worked several townships in my area.
But you are correct local people need to go door to door. Unfortunately most conservative I’ve known won’t do that. Either because they work, or just don’t have the social skills. College kids do need to get involved, but NOT as the bosses.
Mary, Liz Cheney and people like that are not big time paid consultants. Mary makes good money but she rolls her sleeves and does as much if not more work then anyone.
The ones I am thinking about are the Schmid’s, Wallaces, the San Diego/LA consultants of Romney/Mormon candidates, some of Huckabee’s. They are arrogant as can be and want to tell everyone what to do.
One I would hire would Ed Goeas who is a consultant to Mary Fallin, Haley Barbour and others.
The ones that don’t consider themselves elitist I would bring on board. But the status quo, have to conform don’t touch them with a 10-foot poll.

Greta then talked to the lawyer. He mention that one of the people that is filing these IS connected to Obama and the DNC. He also explains the Alinsky method they are using against her without calling it by name.
I heard a soundclip on the Curtis Sliwa radio show. In responding to the posibility of “killing her political carreer,” Sarah said, “If I die, then I die.” (Sounding like she was grinning over the fact that she has nothing to lose.)

Her entire attitude the past couple of days has caused both dad and I to say, just like in Alaska the GOB-GOP had better get out of her way...Sarah Barracuda...is about to jump in the pool.
This is great! She owes no one. No one owns her. And she’s out on the boat catching fish, while the media beats a path to Wasilla! I love it! LOL!
She will become the grassroot leader of the people. The GOB GOP can either follow us or fold. If they are smart, they’ll get out of her way and then get behind her.
