I hope I am wrong, but I can’t help thinking it was a mistake for her to resign as governor of Alaska.
Her enemies might be able to use this effectively to cast her as a “quitter”, if she ever runs for elected office again.
Conventionally speaking, John McCain was so far superior to Barack Obama in experience, in good judgment, in character, that he should be president today.
How’d that work out for him, O Merciful and Compassionate One?
I'm with the crowd that wished Palin had announced her intentions, but I get the impression that she doesn't know yet. She might be exploring a presidential bid, but doesn't want to announce that yet because she might see the Senate as a fallback option. Give her a couple of months to get her footing and some speaking fees.
I wish that were true, but while some have tried to have a rational discussion, too many have behaved like DUers and liberals, shouting down any discussion point that would suggest less than god-hood status for Palin.
