I don’t think the military is going to side with Ahmadinejad much longer. The military is meant to protect the people, and the government has become an enemy to the people.

It didn’t look like they had any then, but gasoline makes a great weapon (Molotov cocktails from a roof) and sabotage is a great weapon against a dictatorship. They cannot guard everything.
No Molotov cocktails, which is surprising, but with more civilian deaths it will come. The ebb and flow of revolution is in macro what was played out in this video. The people pushed and fell back until enough of them pushed forward and pushed again to reach critical mass.
There will come a time with the security forces are afraid to shoot for fear of being overwhelmed and killed in retaliation. At that point the current regime will flee. I hope they reach that point soon.
To be a sound defeat, they need to drag the Islamists into the streets and kill them. Where will these Shia mullahs run to? Even Western Europe will likely say no now. I suppose North Korea is an option for them, if they bring enough money.
