There are some startling statistics starting to come out from the Chrysler dealership closures - like that Republican dealers are 10 times more likely to be closed than Democrat dealers...

What is a republican dealer?
Never saw a Chrysler Dealership sign that stated this is a Republican dealership. Never saw an ad in the papernor heard one on the radio to that efffect.

See this thread. A FReeper compared the names of owners of closing dealerships against names of political donors, and found a very definite pattern.

A "Republican dealer" in this case is one that has made a financial contribution to the Republican party, especially during the 2008 presidential election.
