Wayne Root on Two-Party Socialism and Obama (video)
Evil Conservative Radio ^ | 17 May 2009 | EC

The 2008 Libertarian Party nominee for Vice President, Wayne Root is an outspoken critic of both parties. Root explains why he's a former Republican, why Obama's presidency is an unparallelled attack on our liberties, and how his 1983 Columbia classmate has been concealing his past from us. One more major public figure says to Obama.... show us the Birth Certificate, already!

Wayne Allyn Root had his chance to speak out against Obama on the campaign trail when it mattered. He hitched his wagon to Bob Barr, who in turn heaped praise on the likes of Al Gore and trashed Sarah Palin five times as often as Obama.

To top it all, his buddy Barr tried to throw him under the bus (with Root's blessing!) in favor of Ron Paul, but even Ron Paul was smart enough at that point to realize Barr had become a pathetic joke. I'm amazed that even Paul had more common sense than Wayne Allyn Root.

Wayne Root and his fellow “former” Republican running mate showed their true colors during the campaign when they hypocritically attacked Sarah Palin (nevermind that's she more “libertarian” in office than Barr ever was) .

Conclusion? Root can go pound sand.

I like Root. He describes himself as a libertarian that is very strong on national security. Kind of like Ron Paul with a set of nads. I like how he’s not afraid to tell the truth and call Obama a Communist.

I turned off the interview when he described himself as "more qualified" for President than Obama. What a joke. Obama has a paper-thin resume for the office and this guy's resume is even worse. He's a career TV sports producer. He seems to have confused the duties of the President with the duties of the Secretary of Commerce in that he thinks it's to "help promote businesses" or something. Root has no experience or skills to govern a minor local office, let alone the top office in the country. He'd be totally out of his league trying to negotiate legislation with Congress or conduct foreign policy with other nations. Based on his idea of being "qualified" for government office, I would be better qualified than an seasoned conservative leader like Mike Pence because I have a degree in film/video and have run a small business while he hasn't.

What a joke. Root is living on some other planet. Bob Barr tried to dump him from the ticket for precisely that reason -- Barr realized how foolish his rants about Sarah Palin lacking "experience" and not being "vetted" were when Barr's own running mate had no government experience and was chosen on a whim.

I no respect for anyone who would hitch their wagon to the likes of Bob Barr. Barr has betrayed conservatives far worse than McCain ever has.
