A weakened Pelosi is a temporary situation, at best. And forgiving or at least excusing her current behavior only invites more of the same from her in the future and worse from those that will come later.

If she stays in, it is just one more Democrat with one more scandal - i.e., normal. It becomes a non-issue when the attention span fades.
This may be the only chance to kick Pelosi out.

I don’t think that this is temporary. She has lost all credibility and that isn’t something that comes back. As for her behavior, well, it isn’t up to us whether or not she is punished.
