"Obama could nominate Michael Moore and the Dems would confirm him"
Washington Examiner ^ | 05-08-2009 | Byron York

Earlier this year, the committee was made up of eleven Democrats and eight Republicans. Then Sen. Arlen Specter switched sides. Majority Democrats did not allow Republicans to replace Specter, turning an 11-8 committee into a 12-7 panel. The committee has not been that unevenly divided in decades, and it's a huge advantage for the majority party. "They could nominate Michael Moore and the Democratic caucus would confirm him," a dejected Republican aide told me.

The sooner they go over-the-top, which is not at all far away, the sooner the American public will wake up and vote these power-mad fools out and restore our Constitutional Republic to its rightful state.

I don’t think the Republicans have any chance of retaking the Senate in 2010. They’d have to pick up 11 seats. If Obama and the Dems really screw things up in the next year, conceivably the Republicans could hold all their vulnerable seats and pick up Pennsylvania, Connecticut, New York, Nevada, Delaware, Illinois, and Colorado.

That would be a net gain of 7 and is extremely unlikely and would still leave the Dems with a 53-47 Senate advantage.

When the people become scoundrels, don’t be surprised that they elect scoundrels to lead them.

“how long will it take for us to restore the balance of power?”

The Democrats own the Census-Fraud Machine. They own the Vote-Fraud Machine. They own the Treasury-Fraud Machine. They own the Military, Federal Law Enforcement, and the Union Goons. They are about to own the Supreme Court.

We are only two states away from a Constitutional Convention, which the Democrats will also own.

I would guess; maybe a thousand years, or so.

Even worse- check the Constitution to see what the eligibility requirements for SCOTUS are.

In a nutshell, heartbeat, appointed by President, confirmed by a majority in Senate.

So an illegal alien felon would make it if 51 Senators vote for her.

The corollary to this one is “If a pro-choice Adolph Hitler ran against a pro-life Jesus Christ, American women would vote for the Fuhrer”.
