Predictable really, yeah. NOTHING is her fault, nothing is her responsibility, and EVERYTHING is your fault.... May I point out that she had not been to the court ordered meeting with her son either since 2008...but im sure that was not her fault either.

It’s because junk food is cheaper than healthy food.

And it’s your place to shove it in everyone’s face?!

I think God expects people to tend to their own children when they are breaking the law! And instead she breaks the law too but yet calls the ACLU to take care of her problems.

Very good listing, but what about the verse prohibiting the “taking of a millstone [ability to sustain ones-self], not even the top one” for debts?

It is? In my experience, healthy food is relatively cheap but it needs to be cooked. The problem is with the cooking, IMO.

The solution: Change your last name to Garcia or Lopez and learn to speak Spanish. They’ll think you are an illegal and will ignore you unless you actually drive while intoxicated, in which case, they’ll let you bond out so you can disappear.

There IS a duality of justice but it has more to do with Country of Origin than it does with poverty or color.

What kind of junk food do you mean? I usually think of boxed breakfast cereals vs oatmeal. Per serving, eggs and toast might even be cheaper. Homemade pancakes and waffles are cheaper than the frozen kind, homemade pizza vs frozen. Cakes and cookies are cheaper baked than bought.

What I've noticed from the various "trying to make ends meet" threads is that people are often buying prepared foods like the above instead of ingredients.

Some of this ends up not being practical if you're only feeding one or two. Using pizza as an example, you may spend the same amount buying frozen vs ingredients, but you'll often end up with twice the product. That may not be practical for two people but for a family of 4 or 5, it's better value.

I can't believe that nobody has brought up an obvious fact of this case.

GUILTY.

lets see eggs per dozen about $2
standard post cereal is about $5 for a 14.5 oz box.
Bad comparison but still it’s animal protein vs cheap carbs where the protein is cheaper.
