Are you seriously comparing the treatment of Miss California to this? It’s one thing to be subjected to idiotic comments by the likes of Perez Hilton - that stuff was reprehensible, but it was free speech. It’s a whole other thing to be subjected to torture and murder.
That you would try to compare the two is contemptable and disgusting.
While I felt that Miss California was mistreated, I think you are missing three important points with such an atitude:
1) The gays that are being tortured and murdered had nothing to do with how she was treated.
2) They are being mistreated far worse than she was; even if it was that nasty weasel judge who was being tortured and murdered, all decent people should still be aghast at it.
3) Just because you and I don't sin the same way that gay people do, doesn't mean we have been free from sin either. The man who prays thanks to God that he is "better" than someone else will not be forgiven himself.
