Warning: Gov. Palin's Authenticity May Cause Onset of PDS

Remember when former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said this in defense of Governor Palin during the Republican National Convention last September?

To what can this shift in opinion from the former Speaker regarding the Governor be attributed? Sadly it's just politics as usual, folks. Simple as that.

The rhetoric shift can be partially attributed to a politician simply seeking to boost his credentials, pocketbook, and favorability ratings amongst the public. Just take a look at the events to which both Governor Palin and Newt Gingrich have been invited this year (of which we have knowledge): CPAC 2009 and the NRCC/NRSC fundraiser.

I would not put much stock in what Newt says. He’s really a finger-to-the-wind kinda guy. I don’t think he’s the guy for 2012 but I’m sure Hannity will fall all over him. BTW I just saw Gov. Palin’s Indiana speech. Loved it.

Funny how after Sarah was selected as the VP Newt went on Fox News and said that he personally went to John McCain and told him to check out this Governor in Alaska, now he wants to say “aww, I don’t know how her family will be able to handle it” Please Newt, spare me with your pretend concern, how about Jindal’s family, how about Sanford’s family. I guess Newt doesn’t care about their family. And how dare Newt bring up Kay Bailey Hutchinson, I can’t stand that woman, she is worse then a RINO, and he brings up Governor Lindle from Hawaii, excuse me what has she ever done? Still waiting....It’s obvious to everyone that Newt is gonna run for President in 2012(Hmm, how come he didn’t run in 2008 if he thinks so highly of himself) so he wants to remove all of those who are considered his competition. Newt, keep running your mouth, everyone knows what a phony u are

Other candidates or politicians have not received the smears and bashing as Gov. Palin nor will they because they are not a threat to the democrats

I am picking Gov. Palin over Newt today, tomorrow, the next day, the next year, the year after that and in 2012. Sorry Newt.

I’d work harder then I have ever worked before to get Sarah elected. Saw her speech again, I never get tired of hearing her speak. So real, so genuine. I read in the courier press different people who were able to hang out with her, said how so genuine she is, even the security officials who were there to guard her, she had never met them before but knew all of their names, they were SO impressed..and they were watching her to see if she was as real as people said she was, or if it was all an act, and they said that she is 100 percent sincere, no rolling of the eyes, nothing, she is 100 percent as legit as they come..a sincere, articulate human being who loves being around people and helping anyway she can. Now THAT is something we need in the White House BADLY

I knocked on 1500 doors in Nevada the week before the election last year, and it sure wasn't because of John McCain. I'll spend a month working for her, and empty my wallet, if she runs in 2012.

I donate 20 bucks to SarahPac each month(It’s all I can afford), I’d fly to Alaska to help with her campaign, anything possible to assist her. I haven’t been so inspired by a human being in my whole life. She is the most amazing human being I have ever seen

Tonight I watched Sarah’s speech (on C-SPAN) to the Indiana right-to-life group. She was magnificent.

Sorry, Newt, but Sarah simply lights up the room. I kept thinking, this is a good and honest woman who knows who she is and knows what reality is. Anyone who abuses her is my enemy.

IMO, Newt’s time has come and gone. He is just trying to make himself appear relevant - which he isn’t.

I get very angry when people suggest that Sarah isn’t bright enough to be President. The smartest people in the world have practically destroyed this country. Give me someone who with character and who loves the country to lead the nation.

Good on you Sarah Barracuda! Gingrich is trying to stay alive by riding the back of Ronald Reagan’s legacy. What a loser he is and I’ve told his campaigners to call me back when hell freezes over. As far Hutchinson - I told her office the closest she will get to the being Governor of Texas is as dog catcher of Travis County Texas. She has my most sincere backing for that job.

Well, I have similar strong feelings, although I cast my first vote for the great Ronald Reagan of blessed memory and will always consider him my favorite politician.
