Savage is a phony conservative, a well-known fact to most on FR.
I’ve long suspected he was a phony. This just confirms it. No true conservative who’s been around as long as he has would fall for this gun banning nonsense. What I don’t understand is why he chose this moment to completely life the veil and show his true colors.
I wonder if he is just very mentally disturbed and can’t decide what exactly he is.
I like some of the stories he tells of his youth in Brooklyn. He has an irrational hatred of all other conservative talk radio. I don’t get it. I can listen to him for a while, but certainly not for a whole show. He grates on me. I’m a little surprised to find out about his disdain for the second amendment. I’m guessing this has come from the murder of the 4 Oakland police officers by that scumbag who offed two with an AK or SKS. I never did hear what the rifle actually was. That seems to have really shook him up.
When people ask me, I say he’s not one of ours. If they ask why, I say he’s a true blowhard.
