I podcast Michael Savage. Without a question he is BIG TIME conservative and does not like what the Republican party has turned into (basically worthless). So he bashes them, but he is still very conservative.
This post goes against everything said that day based on the Oakland Police shooting. I still have copies and I read his notes almost every single day.
This looks like a hoax to me. Savage is not a gun grabber, but a big gun advocate. He is a member of the NRA and owns several weapons himself.
I am calling B.S. on this link. I listen to the guy everyday and hit his web site almost everyday.
Michael Savage BY FAR. Is wayyyy more conservative than Rush, Hannity, Beck... As a matter of fact Rush, Hannity and Beck get their notes from Savage. I laugh every time I hear it.
Anyone who says Savage is a RINO or phony does not listen to him. Savage is easily the biggest conservative on talk radio.
He is not scared like Rush, Hannity, Boortz or Beck to talk about Gays and the bible. His biggest push (since 1994) is the illegal immigration. Rush, Hannity, Boortz and Beck have finally talked about it in the last two years. Prior to that they were all silent.
BTW, Savage has tow PHDs, has written 24 books (not all political). Savage is the most intelligent of any of the talk show host. He has 4 New York Times best seller books. Easily by far Savage is the best on radio. Anyone can podcast his show and he smokes the rest. If you listen to all of them (like I do) then it obvious to any objective listener that Savage is the best.

Savage understands Hitler was anti-gun. He always ask what if the German Police were met at the door (by jews their were coming to arrest) with gun fire. Savage believes if this was the case, then the Holocaust probably would not have happened.

Why are the police outgunned?
In the last two or three weeks, the United States has seen an unprecedented outcropping of violent shootings, much of it directed at the police. As a result, seven police officers are dead. Over a dozen civilians have been killed. Why is this happening now? Obviously this has nothing to do with race. The shooters run the racial gamut. A black shot the police in Oakland. A white shot the police in Pittsburgh. And a Vietnamese individual shot the civilians. But in both cases where police were killed, an assault rifle was used.
So why are our police outgunned? Is it because of the politically correct rules of engagement that have been imposed on them over the last 30 years? Or is it because there are too many assault weapons in the hands of criminals? If we decided we wanted to have real borders, maybe we could stop the flood of weapons that come from Mexico, Russia, China, and Eastern Europe. But now that they’re here, how can we allow our police to by the criminal and the insane. So I put the question to the Savage Nation. Is it time to ban assault rifles? What are they really needed for?
Of course, I can already hear callers telling me, “Well, Mike, if we’re armed with these weapons, the government can’t possibly take our rights away.” That is nonsense. If the government wants to take your rights away or imprison you for whatever reason, your owning an assault rifle is not going to stop it. So we have to ask: If the police are not allowed to have these types of weapons, then why is the public allowed have them. I want you, The Savage Nation to tell me why.

I'm sorry but he is not a gun grabber. Just for the record I also listen to Boortz, Beck, Rush and Hannity. Savage is clearly the most conservative of the bunch. The rest lift their notes from Savage. It does not bother me, but I just wish they would give credit where its due.
I have listened to Savage for a long time and you can rest assure he is the biggest conservative that is not afraid to talk about Gay rights, the Bible, Illegal Aliens or the weak Republican party.
If you listened to him on a regular basis, then you would know this. As a matter of fact his radio show during the funeral of the Oakland Police officers I would say was one his best.

Just found this, this was about a month before the Oakland police killings and Savage’s comments concerning assualt weapons.
I totally agree with you .I think this post is a plant. I have heard him many times defend gun ownership. He has also said many times that the FIRST thing the Nazis did to the Jews was to take away their guns and he cautions us to NEVER let that happen.Something smells here.
