Dem Strategists: Sarah Palin Is The New Rush Limbaugh
The Plum Line ^ | 03-30-09 | Greg Sargent

Posted on 03/30/2009 2:05:52 PM PDT by euram

James Carville, a key architect of the Limbaugh strategy, says Dems will be seeking to elevate Palin more and more, because she’s “an identifiable person who has a hook,” unlike GOP leaders like Eric Cantor and Mitch McConnell.

No one should fool himself that all the anti-Palin trolling in the internet is only from the Obamatrons. The Romnatics are just as busy wading through the gutter.

She personalized it by being so unqualified yet acting like a narcissist who thinks the country owes her something just because she wants it.

You have any evidence at all that Palin thinks she is owed anything? Any evidence of narcissism?

Minn's Law: A person's real intelligence is inversely related to that person's assessment of Sarah Palin's stupidity.

If you honestly believe she is a lightweight, it simply shows what a sheep you are. You've bought into the Noonan/Parker/Brooks idea that intelligence, wisdom and competence to lead flow from the Ivy league and other stuff shirt institutions of self-absorption. It doesn't. Not a single living human could have survived the gauntlet of sneering attacks launched at at her and come out in one piece.

It’s funny you said that you didn’t know Romney was a woman, I had always assumed you were until you let it slip that you donate money to Palin. She’s gotcha. Too bad there aren’t more real men around in the Republican Party, then Palin couldn’t get away with her little femine wiles game she likes to play. It’s good enough to split the base between those who see and those who don’t but it will never get her into the White House. It’s only enough to split the base. That’s it!

The Republican Party will be better off when it is done with Romney and his money, minions and methods. Unfortunately it looks like that’s at least four years away.

It sounds like you are so much more intelligent then Palin. It shouldn’t be like that, it should be the other way around. Palin’s defenders are always smarter then her and I am getting tired of it. It’s backwards. And yes, a narcissist is someone who feels entitled to something they don’t deserve and haven’t earned. Palin hasn’t earned one wit of the adoration she gets.

You don't think it would be better for Conservatives and Republicans if a proven liberal flip-flopper on the pro-gay, pro-abortion, pro-socialism agenda, that Mitt Romney is, would make way for a real and popular Conservative?

The only one splitting the "base" is Mitt Romney (and to an extent the Huckster). He has his cultlike fanbase, but he is neither a Conservative nor will he win the primaries, nor would he be able to win a general election.

Mitt Romney is the single biggest threat to Conservative Republicans within the party.

You like to ignore the truth by calling people who point it out to you names. Such a tired tactic that the left likes to use. Personally, because Palin’s supporters use those tactics so often, I hope she is never nominated. Those tactics need a slap down not a high five. The Republicans should strive to never use the tactics that the commie Democrats use. Can’t you just say what you need to without the Democratic tactics? Talk about RINO. You can’t be a real Republican if you like using the Democratic tactics. There is more to being a Republican then having the right opinions, there is also a thing called integrity.

Do you really think it’s smart of you attacking a human being who hasn’t done a damn thing worth bashing. I understand you don’t agree with her, and that’s fine, but you Romney supporters really think you are gonna get anywhere by bashing someone. I don’t agree with Romney, you don’t see me trashing him, and as far as Sarah’s intelligence goes, I’d like to see YOU run a state for one day, and see how well you do, let’s see you run a National Guard service and let’s see how well you perform. Romney couldn’t beat McCain, let’s see how well he will do in 2012 against other Conservatives who will be fighting for that top spot. You are doing yourself NO favors by trashing Sarah, you think your so big and so smart, why don’t you tell it to HER FACE

Yea. that's why she, with her degree in journalism from five different schools nobody ever heard of, threw out the corrupt good-old-boy network from her own party and now runs a state; while I, with my advanced degree from a prestigious Midwestern university write code from 9 to 5 and, outside of my family, haven't made any real difference in the world. If you think Palin is stupid, your culturally inculcated stupidity is the reason. The cultural intelligentsia's definition of intelligence is stupidity personified

And yes, a narcissist is someone who feels entitled to something they don’t deserve and haven’t earned.

You need a new dictionary. A narcissist is somebody that lacks empathy and considers all other people as merely actors in their personal play. It has nothing to do with entitlement, which is something Palin has showed a distinct lack of, in my opinion. Does your assigning a psychological condition to Palin, with apparently no idea what you are talking about, give readers reason to doubt your intelligence, and therefore your assessment of others's intelligenc?

I think the Alinsky-strategy has a better chance of working against Palin - a politician - than it did against Limbaugh. Rush is an entertainer. In entertainment there’s no such thing as “Bad Press”. All they have to do is marginalize Palin with the swing-voters. They have plenty of time to do it.

Project much?

The only ones using the exactly same tactics and arguments as the leftists are the Romneybots. You imititate the MSM talking points against Governor Palin one to one.

And I think it’s cynical to compare those who oppose the liberal opportunist Mitt Romney to liberals.

I guess cynicism, contradiction and a compulsory urge to lie and smear come natural to those who have to excuse the socialist healthcare, pro-abortion and pro-homosexuality stances of Mitt Romney.

If we want a liberal, socialist President, we can vote for the Democrat ticket. No need to put a hypocritical, opportunistic liberal elitist like Mitt Romney on the Republican ticket.

James Carville is the one man I loathe more than George Soros. He is the epitome of the political hack.

They’re haters. They play on hate. They attempt to thrive on it. Bush is gone, so who’s the next target?

“I think you are misinterpreting what they are planning, they want you to nominate Palin. As far as those ideas you mentioned, it seems like Palin doesn’t need any help. She personalized it by being so unqualified yet acting like a narcissist who thinks the country owes her something just because she wants it.”

Hrmm...interesting use of syntax there...

they want “you to nominate her”...instead of they want “us to nominate her”...
