In another clip from the CNBC interview today, Billionaire investor Warren Buffet said there are "too many cooks in the kitchen" in Washington, D.C., referring to too many voices speaking out on what needs to happen to turn the Economy around. Buffet likens the current crisis to an "economic Pearl Harbor," and said if it is a war then you cannot have every member of Congress planning battle strategy and then second-guessing every move that is made. But at the same time, Buffet seemed to take a shot at the Democrats and President Obama when he said that if you want unity behind the President the majority party cannot kick the minority party around and push through "all kinds of things" and expect them to just fall in line. He makes that comment at the 1:45 mark of the video. . . . . (Watch Video)

Please kick the living daylights out of the Republican party. Bipartisanship will destroy any opportunity for new voices of sanity to take control of the Republican party. No more Grahams. No more McCains. The oracle must be getting nervous that the destruction of capitalism will have an adverse impact on Berkshire. You'll be dust in 20 years Warren, don't sweat it.

Does anyone remember the pre-Soviet factions surrounding the Russian Imperial court? How about the pre-Nazi parties, save maybe the Communist party in Berlin?

This is what happens when the rulers are more or less, with but minor difference the same. There isn’t a warm bucket of spit, or a trillion dollars in debts( plus or minus ) difference between the dull, stupid, fat, greedy Democrats and the dull, stupid, fat, greedy Republicans.

It’s like trying to find a nice clerk at the DMV. What’s the point?

There are thousands of ruins of city states throughout the world. All had fine trade, tradesmen, libraries, markets, wise and benevolent rulers. All gone.

Same too with entire Empires spanning thousands, tens of thousands of miles, with fine roads, aqueducts, well equipped and led armies, teaming ports, schools, games. All gone.

Our ‘Republic’, may it rest in peace, has been around for 250 years. Washington is one giant fecal impaction( plug ). And both Democrats and Republicans like the warm, cozy feeling. It’s what they grew up in, got old with, drank and screwed together with. It’s them against us, the mewing, begging, pleading grasping servile favor seekers, the American welfare serf, the knee groveling public.
