John Bolton: Direct Iran Talks May Facilitate Threats to U.S.

The biggest threat to world peace today is a Nuclear Iran. The US and much of Europe have been feebly attempting to negotiate with Iranian President/Nut Job Ahmadinejad for years with no result. Sanctions haven't worked either. The real stumbling block is that Ahmadinejad thinks that his job is to hasten the coming of the Muslim Messiah and he indends to get there by starting a world war using nuclear weapons. Israel may or may not his first target, but the chances are that the United States and US Interests across the world are near at the top of their list are very high.

The appointment of Dennis Ross, as special ambassador to the region is the first step toward the President's strategy of Direct talks with Iran. John Bolton wards that direct talks may facilitate, not reduce, threats to U.S. interests.
