Racial Tensions to Increase, Not Disappear Under Obama

Because I am a loyal and proud American and because, I believe, I am a person of goodwill, the post I have written here causes me much distress. I did not support Obama, and I do not support the left-wing ideas he wishes to advance; for example, I want him to fail in his ideas to impose a national healthcare program or to spread the wealth through federal coercion. On the other hand, I do not want him to fail in taking steps to bring us out of the housing, banking and credit crisis we are in, nor do I want him to fail in his sworn duty to protect the United States.

The stock market reaction to Obama and his stimulus bill and the anger being expressed by a large number of Americans who pay their taxes and pay their bills, including their mortgages, has been compounded by a general feeling that he may not be up to the job of President.

I don’t think he actually expected to win, and now that he has, he doesn’t have a clue about how to do the job.

Unlike the MSM and PC portrayal of Whites. They have not really been trying to hurt the Black person. It is the Black inferiority complex and lack of a good ethical base that has destroyed them. However when the liberals start to push for even more special treatment a lot of White people are going to get hostile.

I hear someone wants to have a “brave” conversation on race. Fine, let's have one. Let's start with a recounting of what seem to be the “values of black culture”. In my life we have seen single parent families become the norm. In my life we have seen blacks come to represent a third of prison populations because they commit something like half the violent crimes even though they are 13% of the population. Let us look at the number of black men in the inner city with a Cadillac and no permanent address who have fathered several children all by different mothers (some of who are congressmen and “pastors”). How much do I have to go on and on recounting before we can see that the discussion blacks need to have on race is with each other (as Cosby pointed out). One cannot have a discussion with someone who is holding his hands over his ears shouting “Lalalalalal!” I try to be tolerant of people but I cannot tolerate willful stupidity.

I'll just say that the last year has done a good job of flushing away any illusions I might have had regarding race in this country, so in a backhanded way, Barack Obama & Co. have done me a personal favor.

The content of your character ladies and gentlemen, and the content of your character alone are all that I will use as a basis for my interaction with you. Grievances, grudges, excuses, threats and vengeful extortion on the basis of pigmentation all became absolutely meaningless to me in November of 2008.
