We need to always remember that Obama won this election with 53% of the vote. There are still 47% of Americans who are not going to just roll over and surrender to this element. Moreover, a chunk of the Obama electorate were voting for a carefully crafted image - and some self satisfied warm fuzzy FEELING attendant with voting in an African American with a furrowed brow and dulcet voice - and not for massive socialist economic policy and a transformation to the secular statism that has rendered much of Old Europe a shathole.
