Pigs are flying.
An inner battle between the billionaire capitalist in him and the puke liberal in him........in the end money and power win over weak individuals - to him, money was more important than the local government power he can only expect as his highest public service all-you-can eat buffet......
Somehow I am recalling a part of Atlas Shrugged where an executive of a failed automobile company bragged that under his management his company never made a profit. Like making a profit was some kind of unforgivable sin.
All it takes is a few hundred of the wealthiest to leave, and the city is screwed. Business gets more mobile every day.
Bloomberg is experiencing the onslaught of Alzheimer's.
He's become too rich to be just an idiot.
Disregard, he's an idiot suffering the onset of Alzheimer's....
Well, can’t obongo just sign an executive order prohibiting the wealthy from leaving a state if their taxes are raised there?
I guess you’re one of the people who don’t object to my opening clause: “You don’t expect wisdom from people who have too-often sided with fools...”
But it’s always nice to be able to pick up ammunition from your enemies; to be able to say to liberals in arguments, “Come ON, even the freakin’ mayor of New York acknowledges that taxing the rich is a stupid idea!”
I am.
What a day, Bloomberg, trader’s revolt and high school kids kick Obozo.
Do’h bama will probably just decree that all state taxes automatically rise to the level of the most-taxed state.
Next he’ll build a wall around the country, because liberals - while they hate walls designed to keep illegal immigrants from pouring IN - like walls that are intended to keep people from escaping to escape to places where God and freedom are still pursued.
Because that’s the way he rolls.
Well, we trust in the same God and distrust the same fools.
An annual income of $250k in NYC would entitle you to a tiny studio apartment, clothes from Goodwill, and probably food stamps. But let’s by all means raise their taxes.
Throughout life I have never had the time for fools.
Works for me.
Maybe the wealthiest 1% in the US should all move to one state. LOL.
Bloomberg may be various things, but an idiot he’s not.
Fill me in then and perhaps I will be convinced.
Well, he’s built a multi-billion-dollar company at the interesting of technology, finance and the media, to start. But he’s also maintained popularity as the mayor of NYC into a second term. I think there’s something to be said for accomplishments, and he’s accomplished more than many.
So has Ted Turner...
What's to be said?
The mayor is wrong. They are going to take us straight to hell.
