Here are 10 words of phrases the Michael Steele and GOP lawmakers could or should use to increase their representation in Congress in 2010 and win back the WH in 2012:
1)NATURAL RIGHTS ENDOWED BY GOD TO EACH INDIVIDUAL OF LIFE, LIBERTY, AND THE PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS -the basic rights to conduct one's life on behalf of one's self-interest without committing a crime is inviolable and must be secured by all branches of government and the Constitution
2)ISLAMOFASCIST TERRORISM -if you want to know what kind of society the Islamofascists want to impose of America let's check out where they operate and what their societies are like-describe in stark detail
3)RIGHT OF SELF-PROTECTION -the government realized that government, military, police and fire protection are first responders and not first preventers. Thus they saw a need for an individual to protect himself directly and thus the passage of the 2nd Amendment (re-affirmed by Parker vs District of Columbia decision).The supporters of eliminating the 2nd Amendment would have the American people give up their right to self-protection.
4)THE RIGHT OF THE CHILD NOT TO INHERIT THE DEBTS OF HIS PARENTS AND GRANDPARENTS -the idea of the tabula rasa
5)THE RIGHT TO HUNT, FISH, AND ENJOY THE OUTDOORS WITHIN LIMITS ESTABLISHED BY SOUND CONSERVATION POLICY OR OUTDOOR MANAGEMENT -contrast this with animal rights activists and environmental wackos
6)PERSONAL INITIATIVE AND THE EXCEPTIONALISM OF AMERICA -the greatness of America heretofore was dependent on the greatness of individuals and not the collective will of interest groups or the 'good will' of government
7)BARACK OBAMA IS A SOCIALIST, NOT A LIBERAL OR PROGRESSIVE -lines must be drawn in the sand
8)THE RIGHT OF EVERY AMERICAN TO DRIVE THE CAR OF THEIR CHOICE, PAY THE LOWEST POSSIBLE PRICE FOR FUEL AT THE PUMP, AND THE DEMAND THAT THE GOVERNMENT ALLOW FOR THE FULL EXPLORATION OF RESOURCES AND THE MAXIMUM OUTPUT OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS SUBJECT TO BEING ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY
9)THE RIGHT TO SUCCEED AND ALSO TO FAIL WITHOUT GOVERNMENT INTERFERENCE EITHER WAY
10)THE RIGHT FOR ANY INDIVIDUAL TO EXPRESS THEIR BELIEF IN GOD IN A PUBLIC DISCUSSION OR FORUM WITHOUT BEING EMBARRASSED, RIDICULED OR VILIFIED BY EDUCATORS, GROUP LEADERS, OR POLITICAL LEADERS PRESENT AT THE TIME.
I think the House is the most important target. While getting rid of O would be great, taking back control of the House and Appropriations is more important right now....IMO.
Not that you can’t try both, but taking back the House should get the first drink from the fountain, so to speak.
This is a very significant subject.
Liberals “spin”. That would be stupid, except they’re very successful at it - mostly because they have infiltrated and taken over the delivery channel for spin - our so called media.
Republicans sit idly, speaking the Queen’s English, unaware it seems, liberals are redefining the language to their own devices right out from under the GOP.
As is per usual - Republicans in particular, as an increasingly unappealing representative of conservative principles - surrender the entire field.
Take for example, the word “choice”.
Liberals have redefined the word. Choice, is almost fundamental to American freedoms. Abortion hardly so.
What is “choice”. For starters - education vouchers are “choice” in education. Do Republicans hammer that point?
No.
Republicans have become lazy.
They don’t even fight anymore.
That is why the tried and true principles of conservatism must be repeated by every GOP candidate and conservatives again and again until we get tired of hearing them. They must begin to quote from the same playbook and be consistent.
ABSOLUTELY.
Yes.
BINGO! Libs are pounding their philosophy into the minds of adults and children via the media, day in and day out, in news and entertainment. And let us not forget education. Republicans are lucky to get an unedited soundbite or two.
