Obamas policy of verbal engagement and recognizing states that support terrorism earlier this week he named an ambassador to Syria which President Bush withdrew in 2005 because of its support of Al Qaeda - is already paying dividends. Syria is giving Hizballah mobile anti-air missile systems.

Perhaps “Obamas policy of verbal engagement” will negate the UN’s need to send stern messages (especially if he uses his Blackberry).

Yet one more reason why the F-22 is a necessary aircraft and Sec. Of Defense Gates is an idiot for saying otherwise. A squadron of F-22s is capable of dismantling a radar guided air defense nework such as this; thereby, facillitating the deployment of non-stealth aircraft within the airspace and guaranteeing control of said airspace.
