Obama the Hypocrite

Less than one day into his term as president, and Barack Obama is already illustrating why those who did not vote for him voted as they did.

Obama is an extreme hypocrite. Notice, for example, this summary from http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090121/ap_on_go_pr_wh/obama_executive_pay concerning his desire to loosen up restrictions on releasing information under the Freedom of Information Act. Obama stated that "Just because a government agency has the legal power to keep information private does not mean that it should" and "For a long time now, there's been too much secrecy in this city." The order that he issued Wednesday is an attempt to change the procedures that federal agencies use to vet information, so that less will be held back due to "technical" or "legal" reasons.

Sounds all fine and dandy, right? But there's a problem. The problem is that no presidential candidate in recent memory has been as secretive as Obama and as fiercely protective of documents which he has steadfastly refused to release. Off the top of my head I can think of five documents that Obama has not agreed to release, the withholding of which has led many persons to believe he is hiding something. These five documents are:

The long-form version of his Hawaii certificate of live birth (COLB) His college records from Occidental His college records from Columbia University His college records from Harvard Law School Hospital records from various Hawaii hospitals concerning his alleged birth (Philip Berg subpoenaed these records, but Obama blocked their release)

In addition, we'd like to know what sort of information was sought or changed in that passport break-in which occurred during the primaries. As you'll remember, the passport records of Obama, McCain, and Clinton were breached. Why? There is new evidence to suggest that the true target of this breach was Obama's passport, for the purposes of changing some aspects of the information contained therein. The Clinton and McCain breaches were simply smokescreens to divert attention away from the dirty work that went on with the Obama passport breach. The investigation has not filled in enough detail as to what was done exactly with Obama's passport. This information must be released.

The college records are key, because it is likely Obama is withholding them because they would reveal that he was a foreign student at the time he attended college. Specifically, his citizenship is likely listed as Indonesian as a result of his adoption by Lolo Soetoro. Connected with this, Obama travelled to Pakistan in 1981, during a time when American citizens could not travel there. This means that he must have had a foreign citizenship, again very likely Indonesian.

Obama has always hidden, and is still hiding, information about his past. Yet Americans were foolish enough to elect him president. His stance on the Freedom of Information Act represents the height of hypocrisy and skulduggery. What a tragedy for the United States of America.

Changing computer records is not the smartest thing to do as presumably backups exist somewhere.
