What a class act they are. God Bless him; I would like to see him go all the way and win it. he and his wife are really classy people.
“All well and good, but she hurt his career in St Louis because she kept calling the sports talk stations and ranting about how he was being treated by the team.”
I’ve been a Rams fan for about 30 years(my uncle played for them), and Kurt Warner was treated very badly along with many others. He took the team from a hand full of wins to the Super Bowl, and the Rams kicked him off the team after he broke his hand.
Now Kurt Warner is going back to the Super Bowl, and the Rams are back to their old selves. It’s to bad the Rams are so short sighted, but Mrs. Warner was right on defending her husband.
As an Eagles fan I don’t find it difficult to root for Kurt and the Cards. He’s a great man and a great QB. He and the rest of his team smoked the Iggles hard yesterday! The Cards were clearly the better team yesterday (except for the 3rd qtr).
Good luck Cards. (The Steelers can wait for #6)

While you have a point that I agree with, it killed any further endorsement deals for him in St Louis, and made him the object of quite a bit of ridicule from fans and team mates from what I’ve read over the years since.
Personally, I like a woman that isn’t afraid of anything, and will take on anybody in the defense of her spouse.
But the critical articles will be coming out in the next couple of days, as the MSM goes after the next story after The Messiah’s Inauguration.
I know.
But my only point is she hurt him professionally.
I’ve never been a fan of any of the teams that Warner played for but always wanted him to do well because he seemed like one of the good guys in the league that get it. Plus, how many other NFL players can you name from the University of Northern Iowa? I was initially ambivalent towards the outcome of the Eagles/Cards game but found it much easier to cheer for Warner than McNabb.
I never heard the bears story. We could have had Warner? OMG, although knowing the Bears, they never would have signed him.
Great story - GO CARDINALS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Im just noting that his wife is a handful when she feels shes been provoked, and sometimes its not a positive.
