As I have stated previously on my blog, I strongly support Israel's right to exist and right to self defense.

Many of the articles that I have linked to are stirring and well-written texts that make a strong and reasonable case for Israel in the current conflict. However, sometimes you need more than just text. Sometimes a picture is worth a thousand words; and a video is worth ten thousand.

The video reports on the PJTV.com web site about the Middle East Conflict, and specifically those from Joe Wurzelbacher definitely fit into the category of a video being worth ten thousand words.

The idea of a ceasefire with Hamas is too stupid for words, too stupid for even democrats. I will be dumbfounded if it occurs again.

Are Israel and Hamas like Charlie Brown and Lucy? Lucy is forever pulling the football away when Charlie kicks it, leaving him on his butt. We have seen this silliness many times already. In the words of somebody, “Never Again.”

It’s time for Israel to make Hamas a footnote in some history book. If Israel can’t pull it off, the hidden message is we should just become Moslems and get it over with.

Unfortunately, your analogy of Lucy and Charlie Brown is far too accurate.

As for the ceasefire, the news I’m reading now is that Israel is calling a unilateral ceasefire. That is truly beyond belief: “We’re gonna stop shooting now, but you guys can keep shooting at us while we stand around doing nothing.”

How long are they going to keep that up, I wonder.
