I just finished watching Joe the Plumber's first report on PJTV, after reading a really well-written and snappy criticism of the venture that I ran across.
A lot of people in the media seem to be weighing in on the Joe Wurzelbacher-as-journalist phenomenon. Most of them are, like this review, unimpressed with his product. After viewing the report personally, I think it's notable how when someone who isn't trained AT ALL goes out and does just as good a job as the pedigreed mainstream media does, they react so.... snottily...

I think the title is 100% correct, and there’s not a darn thing wrong with that. I’m proud of my fellow Ohioan, Joe the Plumber.
Yes, they do! And I love it.
Seriously, who out there didn't see this coming?
This is similar to what most critics called the “Conan O’Brien debacle”. Started off slowly with nothing but attacks on his style, lack of comedic skills etc. Now look at him.
Joe needs support from his producers and staff. Confidence will go a long way. The sniveling and snorting from elitist, wind bag journalists points out how easy they know their job is. Plus he’s a known conservative and enemy of the socialist networks. Their motto now is...attack Joe until he goes home.
I also wanted to ask them why the "established media" didn't do any investigative work of their own regarding Obama's history, but jumped into Sarah Palin's life with both feet and an agenda.
How could Joe do as good a job as a reporter with a degree in journalism from an accredited school of binge drinking?
How ironic and strange it is that Joe has Obama to thank for his fame. Weird things sure do happen in political campaigns. But, Joe is well-spoken and has a good camera presence. And, unlike Dan Blather, he speaks the truth.
Wherever Joe goes, the MSM is sure to follow
Joe’s truth is and will be anathema to media whores. They are reacting predictably.
I'm shocked, I tell you, just shocked!
I would far rather watch an honest citizen acting as a reporter than a propagandist pretending to be one.
