Independent Sector, a coalition of liberal charities and foundations, wants to cash in on Washington's bailout fever, the Chronicle of Philanthropy reports.
Theres simply not enough cash to respond to the amount of the needs, said Diana Aviv, president of the group. The demand is much greater and the dollars that are secured from traditional sources are shrinking.
Call it charity welfare. If you don't dig deeply enough into your pockets for charity, the government will force you to, or at least that's what Aviv wants.
Tough “stuff.” Do what the rest of us do, reduce your spending and tighten your budget.
They just have to hang in there a few more weeks then all will be glorious again... Obama told us so.
Independent Sector, a coalition of liberal charities and foundations, wants to cash in on Washington's bailout fever,
Will they change the name to "Dependent Sector"?
“so what if you are operating at a loss - you’re a non profit!”
This doesn’t seem to be marked ‘satire’ anywhere. ???
Help me here. Is Obummer going to walk on water or... just pass water?
