I feel no pity for Casey, and in spite of the fact that George and Cindy didn’t kill her, their behavior has been disgusting.
I have 3 sons, if one of them killed their child, I could still love my child, but I could never cover or help them beat the penalty for their actions.
I think someone on Fr mentioned the personality traits of Casey having been inherited from Cindy -I think that may be possible considering how quickly and forcefully she came out with the idiotic explanations for Casey’s behavior. George knows and is angry at everything and everyone - it shows. At least he is reacting in a more normal way.
