This is amazing. Generally, schools and other public buildings or facilities are named in honor of great people who have died or whose public careers are over.
I do hope that Obama can achieve some good things for the country, without going far left into liberalism/socialism. But, the point is that he has done nothing yet worthy of honor. Suppose he ends up being a failed one termer like Jimmy Carter. How many Jimmy Carter schools are there? How many will be named that after Jimmy passes on?
Yep, let’s wait until Obama has actually accomplished something noteworthy before naming things after him.
And let’s see if there is room for another head on Mt. Rushmore. Let’s send the dudes up there to start chiseling away now.
