The Warsaw Ghetto defense was glorious. They were starving, had hardly anything to fight with, but they wouldn't give up. They scared the hell out of the Germans, because Jews weren't supposed to be able to fight. The Jewish Poles finally realized that they had nothing to lose, they were going to killed anyway.
It was the finest Jewish defense since Masada.
