Ok so some dope smoking street thug conned his way into the Presidency. But life goes on. We conservatives built this magnificent country, and we will continue to be its caretaker, despite the millions who will sit with begging bowls in their hands facing Washington hoping to catch any crumbs thrown their way. Tomorrow will be just another day. We will get up and we will go to work and make the best of what we are fortunate to have with us.
As for the GOP, we are done with "reaching across the isle" and "bipartisanship" and fighting for "independents" and "moderates" and whatever else the new GOP has morphed into. F*** that. Tomorrow is the first day of building the movement from the ground up. A movement that is unabashedly and unapologetically red blooded conservative.
Goodnight everybody.

I want my free health care Obama.
I expect all of these within the next year.
What happens when Obama wants to take us on some neo-Wilsonian adventure in Darfur or East Timor or Pock-EE-stahn in the name of the WoT? War is the health of the state, and Obama is a domestic consequence of the Iraq war.
The greatest threat will be to our individual rights, specifically property rights, over the next 4 years.

All I know is my state voted the right way.
Bush, DeLay, Hastert, Ted Stevens, Trent Lott, Bill Frist etc, are the architects of the failure. The Congress spent too much, Bush played ball to buy votes even with leftists, and his DOD did a horrible job with Iraq. The spending and Iraq pushed the party out of favor in early 2006 and the financial meltdown got pinned on Bush since he was guilty of being on office.
Don’t assume that elections are won simply by throwing the moderates to the Democrats. You win with leadership, good policies and prosperity. The Repubs don’t have any of those right now and with the financial market meltdown people went Obama.
I agree. McCain believed that he could win over the MSM and moderates by attacking the conservative wing of the party. His amnesty program failed to win support from Hispanics. Any Republican that attempts to “reach across the aisle” will not get my support
NO more reaching “across the aisle” to advance the liberal agenda. It’s death for our party.
We got rid of some RINOs tonight and kept some good Senators and Representatives. Life goes on and the leftists get their shot at trying to do things better. When they fail we’ll take the helm again. The country goes on and the next generation will soon learn the lessons of FDR, LBJ, and Jimmy Carter. Stay polite to your neighbors no matter what their affiliation, turn the other cheek, love your family, and prepare for the future. Those that are losing it, take a pill.
If there is one thing that gives me solace, it is that our government will be just as broken tomorrow as it was yesterday.

We just had a coup in America the last eight weeks and have lost our freedom. This is probley the very last free election we will have. Soon they will start to redistribute our wealth to poor people all over the planet. It won’t take long and there will be no rich in America.
Of course the other choice is civil war, but that must happen before he hires and trains his national police force.
And the courts will mean we are no longer a nation of laws.
We have become a country who has elected a communist leader not unlike Hugo Chevez.
Our freedom is lost.
And the RINO’s helped and that includes GWB.
And I am sure John the F’ing asshat will reach across the aisle to help the O. He is nothing but a usefull idiot.

McCain has been hoisted by his own petard. Still, he is a patriot and a good man who respects life. The same cannot be said for our new Glorious Leader.
