Coal production in this country covers 27 states. The table in my post ranks the top ten by production - that's mining, Bambi. That's taking black diamonds out of the earth. That's carbon footprinting, son, in a very big way.

I added the latest RCP polls and classified the EVs. It seems that Bambi's loose mouth has put upwards of 72 EVs at risk for him.

coal is produced in 27 states but it is used to make electricity IN ALL 50

coal is used to produce 50% of our electricity
according to the US dept of energy

If the rest of the country is bright enough, they’ll realize that Obama’s views on this will effect ALL of America. We’ll pay incredibly high prices for energy if this happens.

I just called a local coal plant to ask “What are your plans now that Obama has announced he will bankrupt the coal industry?”.

He said he hadn’t heard but would find out.

I had not the patience to wait past 5 minutes.

We should have been flooding the plants with calls this morning!

Obama wants to reshape the agriculture industry

If he is willing to "bankrupt" the coal industry over global warming, what's he going to do to the agriculture sector which "actually is contributing more greenhouse gases than our transportation sector"?

Don't forget about biden's EVIL corn syrup...

evil corn syrup

Man this is a hot topic....

Pingaroo...found something else....old article but hasn't been posted as far as I can tell.

McCain campaign jumps on Biden's clean coal comments ( Sept 24 , 2008 )

The highlight:

"My opponent is against the expansion of nuclear power," Mr. McCain said, repeating a charge contradicted by Mr. Obama's repeated remarks on the issue. "His running mate here in Ohio recently said that they weren't supporting clean coal either."

If electricity prices skyrocket that will be all she wrote for hybrids and electric cars.

The Democrat "No Domestic Energy Policy!"

All of that puts the U.S. in a position that war for oil or
complete economic collapse will be our only choices.
You can't frustrate every source of domestic energy
without consequences. Our enemies will blackmail us
to the extent that we are vulnerable to blackmail.

The Democrats are leading us into a real war for oil.
A war we won't have the energy to fight. A war we don't need to fight because we have our own resources.

no shale - exactly!

we called it garbage coal - just piled it off to the side. at sustained oil of $35/bbl (dated number), it was cost effective to use it.

THAT is not clean work.

bambi is clueless as to how to run a country.

That may be the "major international crisis" that Joe The Biden was talking about. He warned that the public would have to support Obambi, even though his policies might seem controversial.

No shale no nothing. Haven’t the Democrats blocked all forms of energy production except the hopeless ones like bio-diesel, wind, ethanol etc? This has occurred over at least a forty year period. How can anyone think it’s not by design?

See my last post. The destruction of the energy industry and the economy in general seems to me to be a very systematic thing. Democrats have blocked every attempt to avoid this current crisis for decades.
