I was thinking about this morning, when I heard Obama had mentioned Ayn Rand’s book The Virtue of Selfishness to buttress his claim that the McCain/Palin economic policies were selfish.
My guess is that if he had, he didn’t understand her underlying concepts in the book, which BTW I think most people would find challenging given the fact that Rand’s definition of selfishness is not the one most people understand.

I was going to make a joke about him falling asleep while trying to read Anthem, but I realized he may get an idea or two from it.

The reason education should not be publicly funded (to the extent that it is today) is that the government monopoly crushes private education resulting in little to no choice and no competition, thus lower quality education.
Considering there’s no evidence that he’s even read his own “memoirs,” I’d say, “No.”

Obama went overseas to promise the “people of the world” that he would end the divide between rich and poor nations, and said, “people of the world, this is our moment, this is our time.”
Obama is running for a hostile takeover of the US on behalf of the anti-American international community. His plan is quite plainly to rape and pillage America’s wealth, and redistribute it to the rest of the world. His speech was brazenly candid about this.
He has already put forth this very plan in his stealth S.2433 Global Poverty Act of 2007, which he authored in the Senate. His ‘Global Povery Act’ was so cleverly worded and so complicated that noone knew exactly what was in it!
This bill, in fact will stick the U.S for 845 BILLION dollars.
Thats $2500 dollars for every man, woman and child in America.
That’s in addition to the BILLIONS we already funnel into third world countries who hate us.
This act also has provisions to begin the process of prohibiting the private citizen from owning a gun for self protection!
Look up ‘Global Poverty Act’. Study it carefully. Don’t let our America be brought down to third world standards. Don’t let our freedoms be taken away!
Fight!! Fight Obama down to the last hour. Fight him down to the last minute!!
Tell your associates! Hit the newspapers! Hit the forums! Spread the word about what Obama and his group of Communist, racists, Muslims and America haters are trying to do to our country!
And above all, pray. Thank God for privilage of living in the greatest country the world has ever known. Pray that the dark forces who wish to bring America down will be defeated!
