SNL Pulls Bail Out Sketch
Hot Air ^ | 10\06\08 | Hot Air

The Unfocused wonders, as do several e-mailers. The other videos on the SNL clip page are working fine but as of 9:25 this one’s suddenly unavailable. No dice at Hulu either, which is odd since I posted their embed of the skit yesterday morning.

Anyone experienced this before with SNL vids? I can’t believe it’s anything more sinister than a glitch, notwithstanding the fact that it’s NBC and that it’s no secret where Lorne and company’s political sympathies lie. If they were worried about shining a light on the Dems’ role in the Fannie/Freddie mess, they wouldn’t have done the sketch or put it online to begin with, no? Or did they not realize until today that McCain was planning to go after The One on this subject, leaving them scrambling to yank it before the news cycle made it go viral? Intrigue!

Like I say, probably a glitch. E-mail us if you see it come back online; the Barney Frank impression alone makes it worth a repost.

Does anyone have a backup of this clip? or know where it can be found online? The closest thing I could find was this:

But its not the whole clip

One of the best SNL skits in a long time.

I taped it, and it was really funny, funnier than the debate segment.
Pelosi press conference to interview people being forclosed on. Two guy who didn’t have jobs, had pregnant girl friends, rap sheets, prison time, dishonorable military discharges, and on and on..... Pelosi hugged the white guy and dissed the black one when he went for his hug.
Then a couple who had bought 20 something condos, and couldn’t sell for less than a 10% profit...
And George Soros closed it out with his bragging about turning world markets on their heels, more bad news to come next Tuesday or Wednesday, and “there is nothing you can do about it”. And a very swish Barney. GWB portrayed as a total idiot.

Think SNL will protest their loss of free speech?

I didn’t think so either...

Apparently the plot is thickening on this...
The missing SNL bailout skit — and the Soros connection

The bailout sketch hit the Dems, but particularly Barney Frank, hard. They even blamed them for the whole thing but convinced Bush it was his fault.

Maybe they’re making a dry run for what life will be under an Obama administration.

I can see that it was posted at a couple of places and has since been pulled down.

Kind of makes you wonder what the driving force is that’s pulling them down; kind of creepy.

Anybody got a transcript?

It was until I fell asleep at about 12:30 or so. That bailout sketch was extremely funny, conservatives would appreciate it. If somebody posts a non-Youtube source of the whole thing, you’d find it well worth your time to watch it. Fred Armisen’s portrayal of Barney Frank is knock down funny.

i guess if you’d care to copy/paste a version for future reference,...who knows how long this may be available??

nothing surpises me anymore, but in the wake of the ‘che’ posters, dear leader song and obama youths ~ well, this is just really kind of creepy.

Dear NBC,

You’re too late. In an era of YOUTUBE/internet, the video is OUT THERE and circulating.

It was one of funnier political skits you’ve done (good humor has a hint of truth in it) and if you’re backing out, it makes me think. I guess having people think is not on your agenda.
