What is Todd Palin, Dog Food? (Media acting as if Sarah Palin is a single mom)
Townhall ^ | September 13, 2008 | Glenn Strickler

While trying to understand the rants of the left against Sarah Palin’s mothering abilities, it occurred to me that many of these people criticizing her are treating her like a single parent, because they have absolutely no idea what a fully functional family is like. I am willing to bet that a majority of functional families are conservative. I believe it takes conservative values to create and maintain a fully functional family. These values are beyond the comprehension of those attacking Sarah Palin’s personal life and beliefs. To the left, Sarah Palin threatens the existence of liberal values and as such, she must be destroyed.

The left is looking at her special needs child, her pregnant daughter, and her five children in general as problems that would detract from her ability to govern. In reality, they are opportunities for the family and Todd Palin to step up and take care of the family business to allow Sarah Palin to serve her country. Does this mean that she won’t participate in the family? Of course not. If anyone can do both, she can. But she will do it in partnership with Todd Palin. The extreme liberal left feminists are completely ignoring Todd Palin in the discussion, probably because they have been such a failure in their personal lives that they can’t relate to a fully functional family because they have never participated in one.

Everyone has heard the saying “Behind every successful man there is a woman.” In this case, “Behind every successful woman, there is a man.” That man is Todd Palin. Don't ignore him.

I can find it right now, but I saw a cartoon the portrayed him as an inept Dad, trying to do “her job”. He was holding a baby, and an iron, and had 4 arms flapping around as if he just couldn't jeep up.

And how many men have helped raise their children while their wives worked as well!!

This attack on Palin will not go over well with these men cause they also will take this as an insult!

Margaret Thatcher was married and her husband wasn’t an issue ... .

One of her five “children” deployed to Iraq this weekend. Can the libs admit the Palins’ “parenting duties” are reduced for him at least?

My husband is a stay-at-home dad (he works a couple evenings a week), and while he doesn’t always do things the way I would (and vice-versa), he is a great daddy and my emotional rock. I thank God my children are always with a parent and not at daycare.

I’d bet money, the media is ignoring Todd Palin, because he is part Native.

I thought they preferred to have no man around at all. They want the government to provide daycare, money, gay marriages, and everything else EXCEPT a "normal" family when raising kids.

Was thinking the same thing today. Why do they ignore the fact that these children also have a young, healthy, active father? Todd Palin is co-owner of a business, so he can do much of his management from home via cell phone, emails, teleconferencing, etc. Also, the Palins have a solid income and can easily afford a top quality nanny. And take into consideration that Sarah Palin, as VP, will have a full staff to help her run government affairs, and will have the Secret Service watching over each of her children. She will likely also have volunteers, perhaps both hers and Todd’s family, and friends from Alaska to assist with the kids. This whole thing is a red herring thrown out by the stinking media. I don’t know what stinks more, the media or a dead herring.

I work with a guy...

Who looks almost exactly like him.

(Sorry, ladies. He's married, too.)

Two problems

1.) Todd is actually a man and acts like it.

2.) Sarah is actually a woman and acts like it

Guys who are involved with their kids are suppose to be crying wimps not snow machine champions.

Women who work are suppose to be brass balled b*tches. Not someone who has a crib in her office so she can nurse the baby when needed.

They see Mrs. Palin through a feminists kook lens, her husband is just someone that got her pregnant. He watches the kids for me and we stay to gether for the sake of a career.

Otherwise she just keeps him around to do handy work and other things a woman can’t do. OOops I mean shouldn’t have to.
Funny to see Liberals who’s views and hatred shoe their tru colours.

Looks like the terrorist Muzzies will have a real problem with Todd! But I think he could handle them just fine.

BTW, where are all the Euroweenies who are SOOOOO progressive??? They just ship the kids off to EuroDaycare?
I bet Sarkozy never changed a diaper!

Seems like their was nooooo complaint about “Princess Di’ leaving her kids when she went on International jaunts. But then she and Thatcher had a lot of staff to help. Uh wait, the Vice President will some some staff to help in the White house, won’t they? (BTW, regarding White House Staff...Jackie Kennedy had the sheets changed every time she took a nap!)

At least Cindy and Sarah won’t have the Marines serving oerdourves or hauling luggage like the Hildebeast tried to do!

Actually read an article comparing Todd Palin unfavorably to the erudite Barak HUSSEIN Obama.

I’ll take the first dude anytime, thank you.

As for O-bully and his merry band of America haters........

Sarah Palin threatens the existence of liberal values

Liberals don't have values. That would require adherence to some type of standards and liberals are moral relativists.

I’m in that camp. I quit my job in June to be a stay-at-home dad for my girls and it’s been very rewarding. My wife was/is earning significantly more than I, so it only made sense from a financial perspective. Now, if only I was as handsome as Todd Palin... :-)

I believe the Palin family is a good representation of what an American family can achieve when they work together as a team.
