You’ve got to give liberals one thing: If they’re nothing else, they’re consistent about spewing garbage, thereby proving that those who make a religion of politics and gods of politicians will lie any lie, hiss any hypocrisy, sell out any mother, and Sister Souljah any principle if they believe doing so might earn them a scrap of political power.

That thought comes to mind because no sooner had I finished writing that Governor Palin must prepare herself to bear “the worst slings and arrows of outrageous presidential politics” than, like everyone else, I found myself up to my nose in reeking liberal filth that seeks to make political hay of Bristol Palin’s pregnancy.

They need to throw alot of mud to try to get some of it, any of it, to stick.

I'm getting tired of this Democrat emphasis on the fact that Bristol Palin is "unmarried and pregnant." It won't be a shotgun wedding. She's engaged to be married, and was already engaged when she got pregnant. The baby will have a father.

The incident points up a major difference between orthodox Christians like the Palins and the Democrats. To the Christians, Bristol's sin was committing fornication. To the Democrats, Bristol's sin was getting pregnant. Fornication is OK, but use contraception, and if that fails, get an abortion.

I'm not in the business of judging the seriousness of other people's sins. However, I note that Jesus was much harder on the Scribes and on the Pharisees than He was on the woman caught in adultery. The Democrats might want to take that into account.
