Republican Vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin is scheduled to be in Tampa, FL at the Tampa Convention Center at 3:00 PM on September 8, 2008. If you are in the Tampa area call McCain headquarters in your area for details. If you have difficulty or need help in contacting your local office leave a comment. I will see what I can do for you.

What happens to McCain when his Running mate outdrawns him in crowd size.
Simple: McCain becomes the next President of the United States

I just called the Tampa headquarters to see about getting tickets and she said although her phone was ringing off the hook, this even was not happening.
I had already been to McCain’s site and didn’t see it listed under events, so I was a little confused.
So for the record, at this time anyway, from the McCain headquarters....NO Sept 8th Palin appearance.
I confirmed it. My County GOP Chair confirmed to me again. There was a conference call with several other chairs at the Convention. She is definitely going to be in Tampa on Sept. 8. Tampa is her first stop in Florida.
I thought the original story was odd about "tickets not needed." Never heard of that before during a Presidential campaign. I would not put it past dirty rotten liberals to start a rumor like this, that would inconvenience and disappoint a lot of people.
I saw this in the Times, it says it was cancelled...don’t bother to read the comments, they’re what you’d expect from readers of a liberal rag. But click back to the home page of the Times, they have the youtube clip of Piper lick combing the baby’s hair on their front page....so cute.

Probably why Palin’s trip to Tampa was cancelled.
