A case in point is the fact that British tots will soon be subjected to “lessons on human rights and multiculturalism, in between finger-painting sessions and nap time.” It’s all part of the “United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child,” a plan to develop “Rights Respecting Schools” not only in elementary schools, but at the nursery level as well.

“British nursery schools will teach human rights to kids just out of diapers in a UNICEF-sponsored campaign,” noted education scribe Joanne Jacobs, who said that “nurseries across the country are adopting the project, where children as young as three will learn that people across the world live different lives but everyone has a right to food, water and shelter...

Parents, make sure you read your children their Miranda warning before you dicipline them, just in case your violation of their human rights is a crime under the World Court.

...everyone has a right to food, water and shelter...

If everyone has those rights, who has the corresponding obligation to provide them with those things? Why, the government does, of course.

...and the right to keep and bear arms against socialist looters, one might add.

And, of course, the government will provide by taking according to each’s ability and providing to each according to their need...Huh, sounds familiar...Start training them early...

these idiots need something to do - maybe ending slaughter and hunger in africa

wait a sec - they tried something like that and child rape by blue helmets was the result

infuriates me to have failed people lecture me about their ‘theories’ - makes me madder when those theories are inflicted on me by people that run my government

We’re looking at another part of the liberal’s decades-long campaign to indoctrinate youth. This Marxist strategy is not much different from what’s going on in our own school system.

They know impressionable kids exposed to this multiculturalism will grow up to support worldwide programs to take from first world countries and give to third world contries. Everybody should in their eyes be equally housed, fed, medically treated, etc.

Won’t work, of course. If they get their wish to tax the wealthy and give to the poor countries, it’ll just end up in the Swiss bank accounts of all the little dictators in the world. Poor countries are poor because they don’t have capitalism and democracy, not because they aren’t able to build up their own countries by themselves.

The UN is dangerous to democracy. Too many people just shrug their shoulders about things like this. Add them all up, though, and you have a major assault on our freedoms.
