Obama: Amnesty for all "law abiding" illegal immigrants

Not WRIGHT for America (http://www.notwrightforamerica.com) has previously pointed out that Obama wants to provide taxpayer-funded attorneys for illegal immigrants fighting deportation, attorneys whose job it would be to fight to keep illegal immigrants HERE.

But now, in a Dallas Morning News story(http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcontent/dws/news/politics/national/stories/072808dnnatobamaunity.a43f28b.html) that seems to have been overlooked, Obama says that he wants amnesty for all “law abiding” illegal immigrants. Umm, Senator, don’t you realize that illegal immigrants are inherently NOT law abiding, because they either come to the U.S. illegaly, a criminal offense, or come here legally but stay too long, also a violation of law?

Reporter Dianne Solis also asked Obama if there were too many immigrants coming to the U.S. Amazingly, Obama answered no, “the problem is not the number of immigrants.”

The best estimates put the number of illegal immigrants in the U.S. at about 12 million, with about 500,000 new illegal aliens arriving per year. To be fair, one can make a policy argument that the U.S. ought to admit more immigrants (though the optimal level of immigration for the host country is hotly disputed).

But as it stands now, it looks like Obama is off on the number of immigrants who should not be here--by about 12 million.

Like most libs, he is missing the bigger picture. Illegal immigrants aren’t illegal JUST because they sauntered across our porous border without any paperwork allowing them to be here. That should be bad enough, but let’s dig deeper.

To work in the US, they have to have an SS card. To get one means that they have to buy either a stolen SS card or one that is forged. Are you getting this, Sen. McCain?

To drive, they must have a driver license, which most of them can’t get because they are illiterate and unable to either read or speak English. So, they either drive without a license and hope they don’t get stopped (not that the cops are allowed to do anything about that!) or, like the SS card, they purchase either a “doctored” stolen license or a forgery.

These people are called illegals for more than just the fact that they entered our country without either permission from our government or any documentation. Once here, their disdain for our laws keeps skyrocketing. How many deaths and injuries of American citizens can be attributed to the actions of illegals? Some estimates suggest that more Americans have died in the US at the hands of illegals, than soldiers who have been killed in the Iraq War.

This isue is, yet, another example of how badly broken our government is - the very government whose first obligation is supposed to be protecting and securing the safety of the United States of America and its citizens. Instead, they want to protect people who are criminals from the moment they set foot inside this country and try to give them all citizenship in an effort to pander for votes.

The perversion of our form of government by politicians from both parties is criminal, treasonous, anti-American, cynical, arrogant and reflects the level of contempt these elected people have for us - the voters and taxpayers.

It’s time for a change, but NOT the kind they are talking about. Let’s STOP re-electing incumbents and START getting some REAL American patriots and statesmen and stateswomen whose first love is for America. Let’s enact term limits with teeth that prevents these slackers from making a career out of ripping off the taxpayers. Let’s roll back a lot of the procedural rules and force the Congress, the SCOTUS and the POTUS to operate within the framework our Founding Fathers outlined in the Constitution and get the government we were promised . . . . . NOT the one we deserve!
