...So let me get this right... We have no respect for and refuse to associate ourselves with a Vietnam Veteran who lost 3 limbs in service to this great nation, has served as a member of Congress and whom works for a company who provides treatment too and develops new technologies to treat our wounded soldiers. Meanwhile, we will proudly associate ourselves with and allow fundraising from...

Perhaps I should drink the kool-aid and try to understand?

I thought you meant literally. Like someone accidentally took it out of gear and backed over a guy in cammo in a wheelchair.

Sorry.

The super smug Oh-bomb-us bus has driven over another faith based institution. Driven past the American dream, only to park in the lot of the disenfranchised.

He is the person of choice of the growing homeless, unwanted, and fragmented society. He is a product of the one parent, split parent, fatherless gay lesbian drop out dream machine.

A man who wears no pin but a kaleidoscope of ever changing opinions.

I wish the country would wake up and see him for what he is. I think we could get more mileage out of his buddy who stands on the flag. I know alot of vets who get insanely angry about stuff like that. My cousin’s husband got arrested a few years back when a gas station guy (from India or Pakistan or something) let his flag get tattered and shredded and part of it was hanging down on the ground. My cousin’s husband offered to properly dispose of it and even offered to get him a new one to hang up. The guy refused. He went outside and started to take down the flag himself and the gas station guy called the cops and had him arrested for theft. The charges were dropped, but this just goes to show how seriously people take this. I found a flag in the road once and took it to a local VFW and asked them to properly dispose of it. They were honored to. I know from being the child of a vet and how it was drilled into my head, the respect of our flag and what it represented, and it was awful to see people just driving over the flag. I had to pull over and get it. Even my kids... we went to a Shriners Circus and they brought the flag out on the field and my family stood and put our hand over our heart while my father saluted. Other people around us were talking and sitting and laughing. My daughter looks around all confused (she was 9) and finally says “Don’t you people know to stand up? There is a flag down there” I thought my dad was going to burst apart with pride for her. She shamed those around us until they stood up and shut up. I love that little gal.

Haven’t you heard? The latest Democrat meme is that McCain doesn’t care about veterans.
