Obama's Grandma Changes Islam Story From Little Green Footballs: "Yesterday’s edition of USA Today had a story about Barack Obama’s grandmother in Kenya, in which she slams the Clinton campaign for circulating photos of Obama in Muslim garb—and then states that she is a Christian: Obama’s grandma slams ‘untruths’."

"Obama’s grandfather had converted to Islam from Roman Catholicism and taken the name Hussein, Sarah Obama said, but his children had inherited only the name, not the religion. Each person should be able to choose how they worshipped, she said. “In the world of today, children have different religions from their parents,” she said. She, too, is a Christian. Just one little problem with this statement.

In April of last year, Sarah Hussein Obama told the New York Times she is a devout Muslim.

Sarah Hussein Obama, who is his stepgrandmother but whom Mr. Obama calls his grandmother, still rises at 5 a.m. to pray before tending to her crops and the three orphans she has taken in. “I am a strong believer of the Islamic faith,” Ms. Obama, 85, said in a recent interview in Kenya. We haven't seen anything about this in the mainstream media yet, but chances are it won't receive much mention. And, if it does, no doubt there will be much said about Ms. Obama's advanced age. However, she expressed herself quite clearly on the subject of "untruths" about her grandson. One should not lie while berating other liars.

To quote Perry Mason during many a courtroom scene: "The question is, Madam.....were you lying then or are you lying now?"

Has the Obama campaign has been hiding Madelyn (white gramdma), while at the same time producing photos showing Obama with his black step-grandmother, Sarah Hussein Obama – even though she never saw the future senator until the 1980s.

So, she originally said she was a Muslim. Now she says she's a Christian. If, in fact, she has been a Muslim, claiming now to be a Christian is a very dangerous thing for her to do.

Unless ...

If a representative from her mosque goes to her and asks her to claim to be a Chsrtiain -- "It will help our Muslim brother, your grandson, get elected in the United States" -- then her pattern of claims makes some sense. Muslims are encouraged to lie if it will help their faith gain power in the world.

The Associated Press was forced to issue the following correction today:

In a March 5 story about the Kenyan family of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama, The Associated Press reported erroneously that his step-grandmother is a Christian. She is a Muslim, according to the family.

There has been much confusion lately in the press about which members of Obama’s family are actually Muslim. Obama, apparently sensitive to being labeled Muslim, has said several times that he is Christian, although it is widely believed that his biological father is Muslim.

Why the Associated Press assumed Obama’s grandma, Sarah Onyango Obama, is Christian is not known at this point.

His "other" grandma, along with her husband were supportive of their daughter's (Obama's mom)embrace of all things leftist.

As they did NOT spend their time in the Heartland of Wichita, KS, but instead in the liberal confines of the Seattle area, then off to Hawaii, Obama's mom was one of the lefties of the flower children of the 1960's and mom and dad seemingly were greatly supportive of their daughter's "activities."

I believe Walter Williams wrote a piece a few months ago expressing that viewpoint. He pointed out that the color line in baseball was broken very successfully because Jackie Robinson was a great player, and very dignified. It was hard to oppose blacks in baseball after seeing how the first guy handled himself.

Obama is no Jackie Robinson.
