3500 Barrels Of Yellowcake Uranium Transported From Iraq To Canada
Stuck On Stupid ^ | July 7, 2008 | Quaker

Posted on 07/07/2008 4:43:04 AM PDT by Quaker

550 metric tons of yellowcake uranium worth millions of dollars were shipped out of Iraq to Canada. The uranium was transported in 37 military flights in 3,500 secure barrels.

Though the yellowcake had been in Iraq for some time and had been discovered by the United Nations inspectors after the first Gulf War in during the Senior President Bush’s presidency the material has finally been removed. This is a fact the Democrats don’t want publicized and the MSM will oblige.

The article doesn’t say when the yellowcake was moved to Canada. Was this recently?

This was recent. It arrived yesterday.

However, you will not get much mileage tweaking Val. and Joe about this one.

You see, this is the ‘pre-91’ yellowcake.

The liberals dismissed this yellowcake because the U.N. inspectors had it under seal - they put that pretty yellow tape around it.

So this yellow cake, enough to built 140 bombs didn’t count.

The only time this yellowcake counted was when the liberals were able to scream that the U.S. was not guarding it properly so that terrorists might come into the base and steal it and then make it into bombs.

So blind Joe’s see no evil, hear no evil tea brunch in Africa story can continue apace.

Gee, didn’t the top witness against Scooter just die? I wonder if the CIA had anything to do with that.

Why then would Saddam need new yellowcake from Niger? Why not just “nationalize” this batch?

It was in the print addition of the Tribune-Review (ex-urban Pittsburgh, PA) yesterday. Unfortunately, it was an AP wire source, so I was unable to post it.

Who reported these flights? What’s the source?

Over the weekend it was reported the Iraq yellow cake was initially flown to Diego Garcia where it was staged for shipment by sea to the Port of Montreal. The vessel carrying the yellow cake is presently off loading in Montreal.

Perhaps because he wanted to make a few more bombs.

Ol’ Joe did confirm for us that Saddam had sent an envoy looking for yellowcake. So we know he was interested.

There were just so many weasel words in Ol’ Joe’s statements. He particularly emphasized the word ‘contract’. As in there was no contract for the yellowcake.

Do evil villains seeking to cover their tracks always sign a contract?

Or do they just arrange a swap or some other means of payment without any paperwork.

And the people he asked, they were no longer in the government. It was a bit like asking Jimmy Carter what Bill Clinton was up to.

You might get an interesting opinion, but you would not get any truth.

Well, it sure seems easier to have a few pounds of UN materials “go missing” than to travel all the way to Africa to try to obtain new stuff.

My, my, my. How are Chuckie Schumer, Jack Murtha, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy and Nancy Pelosi going to explain this one?  -Saddam Hussein's nuclear program has been dismantled and secretly shipped out of Iraq.

Huh!?

There were no weapons of mass destruction - we know that because MoveOn.org told us so.

And Media Matters heaped scorn on anyone who challenged the notion.

Forgive me while I bust out laughing. Chris Matthews, you are SUCH a dope.

Or put another way, President George W. Bush has today been exonerated that he 'lied' us into war.

“My, my, my. How are Chuckie Schumer, Jack Murtha, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, Ted Kennedy and Nancy Pelosi going to explain this one?”

Umm...they don’t have to. I haven’t heard GWB or anyone else in the administration explain what’s going on. NOT ONCE. As long as they keep it under their hats, how’s the general population going to find out? Hmmm? Drives me nuttier than squirrel s**t.

Well, we know they did travel to Africa to at least ask because ol' Joe told us so.

In any case, it wasn't that far for them to travel.

I just found out that Iraq was required under U.N. mandate to pay all such expenses of shipping NBC stockpiles out after Desert Storm. Why pay for it?

Canada (energy users) shouldn't pay and the US military (US taxpayers) should be reimbursed (Maybe they have?) for transport!

This is the first I have heard about this.....not so much as a peep in the media up here......you would figure it would be big news in the destination country that the uranium went to......but apparently not.

Who benefits from this not being shouted from the mountain tops???

Bush lied??? (even though I knew he didn’t)

What has happened to the Republican spines???

I suppose if the “people” were not so enraptured by this economic BS, and watching the analysis on “The View”, “Oprah” or “Jerry Springer”, playing Wii, or watching American Idol, we might not be in such a mess...

Most in America have lost their focus, therefore we all reap the benefits of those who are too distracted...

I believe it is time to smack as many liberals with all due disrespect and prejudice as hard as we can before the inevitable happens in November...And continue to do so afterwards...

Might be therapeudic...
