For what it is worth, our daughter was born 5 1/2 pounds and remains to this day at the bottom of the charts. I wouldn't allow them to vaccinate while she was an infant. I waited all the way until she was 5 before getting the basics and that was for her private school.

It wasn't till she was in 7th grade did I finally get her first TB. By now the vaccines I suppose are thermersol (sp) free. I never had such a gut feeling in my life than when she was an infant and I walked out of the pediatricians office when he wanted to fill her with 3 immunizations one of which was a triple cocktail while she still weighed under 8 pounds.

Maybe I was wrong, but she doesn't have autism either.

“Maybe I was wrong, but she doesn’t have autism either.”

During the early years of my mothering in 1989, I also had a “gut feeling” and it was about all I had to go on for years.

I can’t tell you the fights I had with my husband, it was truly the biggest fight of our marriage. I kept telling him that if he felt so strongly about it to take our children to the doctor and get them the shots. But he never did.

As the information has been exposed, I think the one truth that I have held on to is the way these diseases are spread. When an outbreak of infectious disease occurs, it is the first line defenses of the body that are called in to play.

Mucous membranes - ears, nose, throat, and the immune system generally uses fevers and rashes to deal with the viruses and bacteria.

But when a live virus is shot into the muscle of a child, the body is stunned, wondering how those toxins made it past all the first lines of defense. The childs body does respond with fevers and an immune response, but no one tests after the shot is administered to see if the antibodies kicked in, and so much junk accompanies the virus in the form of chemical preservatives, toxic overload just throws the child into immune chaos.

I have known several children who had chicken pox multiple times after receiving the shot. My oldest four children only had it once, granted it was a nasty case for all of them, but once they had it, it was over. The friends whose children had the chicken pox vaccine and then had the pox over and over again, said it was never really bad chicken pox, but so annoying to keep getting it over and over again.

I applaud you following your gut.

My mother told me that of all of her eight children, I had the worst reaction to my shots in the early 70’s and have suffered my whole life with food allergies, asthma, and chemical sensitivities. Perhaps my gut feeling was tied to my own reactions as a child.

My sons both had whooping cough when they were babes, and we used alternative healing to cure them, mostly Oregano Essential Oil several times a day.

I agree with Jenny McCarty, I am less afraid of the disease than I am of the vaccine.

Thanks for sharing.

Jenny
