McCarthy was a patriot, and has been vindicated - Bill Clinton will always be...well, Klintoon!

"I grew up, I was going to college when Joe McCarthy was accusing good Americans of being traitors, so I've had enough of it."

The archives of the Soviet Union proved beyond a shadow of doubt that Joseph McCarthy never once called any "good Americans" traitors.

“I think it would be a great thing if we had an election year where you had two people who loved this country and were devoted to the interest of this country.”

You know what? This is a great quote. I don't care who said it.

Best I could come up with was that McPeak was a junior officer on his way up at the time General Edwin Walker was driven out of the service by the evil Robert McNamara (presumably for passing out John Birch Society tracts to the troops).

No doubt that impressed McPeak with the idea that if he wanted to get promoted he'd best go along with the Leftwingtards.

Guess it must have begun to dominate his whole life ~ otherwise he wouldn't be trying to push Obama off on us. Or possibly he "went over" in the Nam.

Also, Joe McCarthy served until May 1957, and, in fact General McPeak was in college at that time. More particularly he became a member of Sigma Chi, the ultimate in frat boy lifestyle participants ~ made me wanna’ puke, you betcha’, no wonder this McPeak guy hates his fellow Americans so much.

Well, he's attacking a communist. Other than that I can't think of any semblance. Did McCarthy have a bitchy wife too?

Clinton is not fit to kiss the toenail clippings of a standup patriot like McCarthy.

[snip]Joseph McCarthy's House Un-American Activities Committee because she had registered to vote in the Communist party primary election in 1936.

Actually, that was the Dies committee, from back in the day when Democrats (Dies was one) still worried about communism. A number of those fingered by Dies were later (re-)named by Tail-gunner Joe. Incredibly, some of them were still serving in government or had even been rehired.

Ms. Pearlman has very little understanding of the legislative branch of the federal government

Therefore she must be an alum of an Ivy League post graduate journalism school. The distinction between the Dies (HUAC) comittee and McCarthy's committee is not, of course, a nuance. Those really interested in the history of Joe McCarthy should look here.

It's excellent.
