We may be able to tell how many campaigns Pitt has tried to insinuate himself into by counting the “re’s” in his “re-re-re-re-re-reading Hunter Thompson’s ‘Fear and Loathing on the Campaign Trail’”. He obviously reads it only during campaign season, hoping for the ‘big’ call.
I wonder how long it takes him to locate it each season. I’m surprised, given his penchant to drink, he ever recalls he has it.

A demoralized Pitt has mostly kept himself in a holding pattern the past few months, primarily posting copy & paste articles. He has not been committing himself in public to any campaign (only RETROACTIVELY to the Edwards campaign now that it is safe to) in the hopes he could become a surrogate for one of those campaigns. No such luck, Will. You have made yourself radioactive with your Fitzmas Fraud escapade.
