That is NOT from the Arizona Republic.

You need to ask a mod to clean up your “error”.

Poor Senator McCain. Can’t even get the endorsement from his (Republican) home state ‘Arizona Conservative’. Although I doubt that he expected to, since they come down pretty hard on liberals.

"That leaves Mitt Romney. The former governor of Massachusetts disappointed conservatives by previously running as a calculating politician -- and a liberal at that – just to get elected in a liberal state. We prefer to see people run as a conservative and educate people on the wisdom of conservative principles. The whole point of championing conservative views is to win converts, and Romney is our biggest success story. He has come around to conservative views that are palatable, and he can never switch back to liberalism. If he did, his political career would be over. Flipping can only endure one exercise in politics, and he is stuck over here with those of us who care about pre-born children and the value that marriage offers to society."

Right now, I'm a grieving FredHead (it hasn't been a week yet, folks...give me time), so I'm looking around, kicking tires and such, trying to figure out which candidate won't make me puke when I fill out my ballot.

I have to say that I've wondered which side Mitt's pandered to before. I don't have the answer yet, but the above quote makes a lot of sense.

In any case, my primary isn't until May. I have time...

I think this is the best endorsement I've ever read. It is straight forward, doesn't pull any punches and it made me laugh. ;o)

Thank you for posting it. I'm glad you have repented so you would have this opportunity.

Ouch...it’s one thing for a liberal rag like the NYT to endorse McCain, but when he can’t get an endorsement from the Arizona Conservative, that’s saying something.

Very interesting.... McCain's home state doesn't want him.

The title you created “The Arizona Conservative’s Endorsement Goes to Mitt Romney” did not match the title at the link, nor did the source name you used “The Arizona Republic” match the link to the blog article you linked.

Please do not alter titles and always use the correct name of the source.
