Solution for Iran: Subversion or Military Strike?

The terror-sponsoring government of Iran is rushing to develop a nuclear weapon (http://www.time.com/time/world/article/0,8599,430649,00.html). There is no doubt that the Mullahs in Teheran will be ready and willing to use it, preferably on a Western target, to assert their supremacy in the Islamic world.

Knowing a threat exists is the key to defeating it.

However, once a threat is identified, the next step is identifying the best strategy to stave off the attack. With Iran, the West is faced with two distinct, but drastically different, courses of action.

So, do we hit the Iranian nuke plants, and get Iranian nationalism stirred up, or do we destroy the Iranian government from within, completely, removing the central point of terror once and for all?

A military strike solves today's problem, but you know as well as do I that they will just get right back in the game. Removing their government should be the official policy, not playing patty-cake like Condi Rice and the appeasement artists at State have been doing.
