Republican racism in the show. The attempted joke in which the white male host compares Senator Obama to former Washington, DC mayor Marion Barry. . . . How can that be racist, when Obama is white?
To: cdcdawg
"...P.J. O'Rourke, Rush, and Dennis Miller..."
Mark Steyn?

To be fair, there are several funny liberals who occasionally employ racist humor. Most of the time, though, the successful ones, like Howard Stern, use it for satirical purposes. But anyone who listens to Howard knows he's not a racist and his intention is to expose its hatred and hypocrisy. To be fair, why not assume that Republicans also can use racial (not racist) humor for satirical purposes?

Yes! Can't believe I left him out. Ann Coulter is very funny. Even Buckley can be quite funny.

I have never thought stern is a liberal. I always considered him more of a libertarian type. He's boring, sexist, vulgar, adulterous, crude, childish, selfish, conceited...wait a minute...I guess he is the prototye of a liberal...never mind.

Fox News viewers who are either racists themselves or who simply accept it with a chuckle. Boy, talk about being bigoted and prejudiced! This clown Bob Cesca paints all Fox News viewers with the same brush.
Now, Bob, I'm sure you would brand me as a racist also, since I am a conservative Republican--and a Christian! But guess what? I don't watch Fox News at all--we don't have cable. When I do watch TV (which is not often), I watch more programs on PBS than on any other network.
What's more, I don't like NASCAR or country music, I don't own a gun or a pickup truck, and I do habituate museums and coffee shops. Does this cause you cognitive dissonance?

Howard Stern just announced that he will be getting married to his "Catholic" girlfriend from Pittsburgh. He's in for a surprise. Hee! Hee! (I know her sister.)

the successful ones, like Howard Stern. . . . One of the fathers of Anna Nicole's baby?
To: cdcdawg
Ronald Reagan had some great lines. One directed to Sam Donaldson was one
for the ages.

My favorite Reagan line was in response to the hippies chanting "make love, not war." Something to the effect of "they didn't look capable of either."

Heard that. I'll believe it when it happens.
(Would love to hear the dirt though.)

If Senator Obama was known to have body odor, then the joke would've been funnier. But to my knowledge, he doesn't. Then again, he is a black and they're usually all stinky and black-smelling, aren't they? That's the amazing thing, isn't it? He DOESN'T have body odor! I mean, you got an African-American who's clean and bright and articulate. . . . I mean, that's a storybook, man.
Oh, wait. That was a DEMOCRAT who said that, wasn't it?
Never mind.
To: cdcdawg
That's good!
Of course, those people weren't "making love" after all, were they?

Great video.
"Does any of the blame belong to you?"
"Yes, because for many years, I was a democrat."

[Songwriter Charles Henrickson of the Free Republic did a quick B.O. joke way back in December.] DUmmie FUnnies 12-11-06 (Obama Orgasma), from post 31:
B.O. is their fantasy lover. "He's so dreamy!" they swoon to themselves. If they had Tiger Beat for female school teachers, B.O. Plenty would be the cover boy.

I just wish we could have seen Donaldson's face after that line!

It's no stretch to suggest that successful artists are generally liberal. Part of the reason the movie industry tends to skew liberal nowadays is the soft blacklisting of conservatives, as well as the moral depravity of much of the product.
To: PJ-Comix
It's no stretch to suggest that successful artists are generally liberal. Creating effective art requires an open mind. . . . An open liberal mind like yours, Bob Cesca, which automatically assumes that conservatives cannot be imaginative and creative.
To: PJ-Comix
liberals are by-in-large blessed with a degree of self deprecation. . . . HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Now THAT'S funny!
