I asked sorta the same thing.
I'm beginning to think he doesn't hand squeeze them but has moved into the 21st century. The modern process is to shred them and centrifuge out the oil.
...."Gore's got more charisma, charm, humor, fame, good looks"....
It just amazes me that there are people on the left the seriously consider algore a viable candidate. "Charisma"? From Plasticman?? Geez, I hope they nominate him!
I say if in '08 the libs want to run Hilly, Edwards, algore, B.O. Plenty, or any combination of the above, we should help them out in every way possible. The GOP may not as yet have real, viable candidate for '08, but this shows me that the libs have LESS then none!
**I wish Obama the best...he is an excellent speaker and writer, but needs to hone his Senatorial skills and sponsor some bills...I wish he was ready for prime time, but I think he needs to hold out to '12.**
Noooo!!! Obama NOW! Mindless "I swear we're not racist" liberals everywhere are waiting to vote for a black guy.
Given the trouble governments have with great ambitions, he was on to something.
Regards, Ivan
**Gore's got more charisma, charm, humor, fame, good looks, and whatever else you think is needed to win, than anyone as far as the eye can see. And then there's the knowledge, the experience, the courage, the conscience, the worldwide respect...**
Gore? What drugs are you on? He's got about as much charisma, charm, humor, and good looks as...well, pretty much any other liberal. Think Ted Kennedy.
**About Obama: how low do American standards have to fall that being able to string together a sentence in correct English now qualifies you for the Oval Office...**
Hey, he's black too! That's important!
**As my Grandpa used to say, "The Horse that shits fast, doesn't shit long." This will pass as fast as it arrived.**
Your grandfather was a very, very strange man...
Oh, one of the silly girls from my school who also went to DC said Gore should run on "I won." Um....exactly who does that attract besides the whackjobs who really believe Gore won in 2000?
He's black. It's very important.
Rush, Paul, Sean, Laura, Michelle, whoever, if you're reading this, let's talk.
I DON'T KNOW WHY I LOVE HIM
(From the musical, "Barack Obama Superstar")
Tune: "I Don't Know How to Love Him"
I don't know why I love him,
My Barack, my Obama;
I've been charmed, yes really charmed,
By his trim physique, so slim and sleek--
I'm awed by his mystique.
I don't know why he's running,
I don't see any substance;
No real plan, flash in the pan,
And I've heard such empty words before
That when I close my eyes
He's just a bore.
But I like his face,
And I like his voice;
Makes my heartbeat race!
Makes me feel all moist!
I never thought I'd come to this:
Obama is my choice.
Don't you think it's rather shallow
I should vote for this fellow?
I'm the one who's always been
So pure, so pissed, so feminist;
I don't need men, oh no--
He scares me so.
But I like his face,
And I like his voice;
Makes my heartbeat race!
Makes me feel all moist!
I never thought I'd come to this:
Obama is my choice.
Yet, like in a romance novel,
I'm in love with a male model;
I've got to look!.He signed my book!
My heart runs wild! I'll bear his child!
I want the world to know:
He's my "Big O"!
Obama, go!
I love you so!
Is that Barack Hussain Obama?
LOL ... I was thinking about a campaign song in tune with "O Susannah", but don't have the time (or talent ;) to develop it further:
It's Obama-
He's the one for me,
I love Barack Obama
Say goodbye to Hillary.
He is. Obama's mama is, in his own words, as "white as milk."
Halfblack Obama is half-Kenyan, half-Kansan:
He's a BARACKSTAR!!!
No, that putdown of Harding was certainly witty enough to be Mencken, and you've got the right era, but actually it was a Democrat leader by the name of William Gibbs McAdoo.
I know. Harding had more experience, too.
His long statement, albeit overdone, says, "No big ideas, just quiet competence". Given the trouble governments have with great ambitions, he was on to something.
The Harding-Coolidge 1920s era of limited government worked pretty well. Then the Depression came, Hoover became unpopular, and that gave FDR his golden opportunity to inaugurate the Era of Big Government, and it's gone downhill ever since.
Coolidge was dismissive of Hoover, calling him "Wonder Boy" and disliking his interventionist ideas.

You mean as like Osama Hussein Obama?
Why Osama? By cracky, if it's good enough for Teddy Kennedy, it's good enough for me.
Way more than Obama ever would.
Regards, Ivan
